Chiropractic Marketing Success - Are you Willing to Pay the Price

Released on = December 9, 2005, 2:41 pm

Press Release Author = Dr.Dusan Djukich DC

Industry = Healthcare

Press Release Summary = In order to succeed in any activity, you have to be clear
about what you want. You also need to know exactly what you need to do in order to
get what you want. This is the price you must pay to get what you desire. Then, you
must make the conscious decision to pay that price. Finally, success requires that
you pay the price. Let\'s examine these four steps more closely.

Press Release Body = 1. Clarify what you want. Clarity is power. You can\'t hit a
nonexistent target. You can\'t set out to accomplish something before you first know
what it is you want to accomplish. Choosing goals that truly inspire you tends to
cure personal inertia and eliminate the problem of being \"overwhelmed.\" Clarity will
stimulate action.

2. Clarify what it is you need to do in order to get what you want. Virtually
everything in life has a price. Homes, automobiles, clothing-all are priced
according to their perceived value. It will take a bigger commitment and cost you
more time, energy and money to create a 400-patient-visit-a-week practice than a
200-visit-a-week practice. The higher you aim, the higher the cost. However,
creating the practice you desire will never be as costly as experiencing the regrets
and \"what might have beens\" caused by a failure to act.

3. Decide if you are willing to pay the price necessary to achieve the goal you
think you want. This decision should be based upon how much benefit you, your loved
ones, patients and staff will receive, balanced against how much suffering will
occur if you remain in a passive state. True achievers are able to consistently take
actions that push them closer to their objectives. They are unwilling to have their
drive blunted by life\'s challenges. You are ready to move on when you have found a
goal you are willing to pay the price for.

4. Pay the price. Although simple advice, this isn\'t always easy. Keep in mind that
when you focus on something, you tend to create it. Each morning, focus on what you
want to accomplish. During the day, ask yourself at least 50 times if what you are
doing that moment will help you reach your goals. If not, change your approach.
Impose a work plan on yourself and stick to it. When you are tempted to stray from
your plan (to attend a dinner party, fishing trip, social event, etc.) ask yourself,
\"Will this move me closer to my objective or is it merely a distraction?\"
You don\'t have to make explanations or rationalizations. Just politely decline the
invitations. Hold yourself accountable and be willing to accept personal discipline.
Like anything worthwhile, this approach may be taxing until you get used to it.

Whatever you do, don\'t interrupt your momentum. Have at least three effective
marketing strategies going at all times regardless of how busy your practice is.
Major successes in the business world-companies like Sears, IBM, and Walmart,
etc.-don\'t cut back or stop promoting themselves when business is going well. They
realize the danger involved in stopping their forward momentum and how easy it is
for them to contribute to it. They realize that we are living in challenging times,
and they take advantage of every opportunity.

It is vital that you continue to \"play the game,\" in the good and bad times. Waiting
for things to get better before you resume playing can be even more damaging than
cutting back when you are on top. So stay focused, find out what works, and back it
up with intelligent action.
Remember, knowledge by itself is only information. Knowledge must be utilized to
have a value. It\'s true that knowledge, skill and preparation are all vital to
success, but until your actions match your intentions they will always be just
that-intentions leading to no real accomplishment, no real value for you or anyone
else.
Knowledge backed by good intentions and intelligent, focused action indeed produces
miracles.
